Project name: Generic framework for code generation for embedded systems – code generation GFCES
Short name: GFCES
Duration: 2013 - 2015
Funding: BMWi / Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences (Germany) subcontract
Cooperation: Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Willert Software Tools GmbH (Brueckeburg, Germany), University of Osnabrueck (Germany)
Keywords: Embedded Software Engineering, Code Generation, Model Transformation, Quality
Short description: The project focuses on the research and development of a new code generator concept and framework, where C / C ++ code for embedded systems may be generated from a tool-independent model using model transformations and an intermediate format. Many embedded systems are safety-critical and. therefore, imply special requirements for the source code executed there. The University of Osnabrueck contributes in a project-related contract concepts that integrate a quality assurance directly into the code generation process.
