<p>Prerequisites: Methods of AI</p>
<p>Multiagent systems (MAS) represent a new way of cenceptualising and implementing system of distributed and self-interested agents. Topics of the seminar: intelligent agents, deductive reasoning agents, practical and planning reasoning, reactive and hybrid agents (subsumption architecture), multiagent interactions (game theory), reaching agreements (auction models, algorithms for negotiation), communication (models, languages, protocols, dialogues), working together (coordination, blackbord architectures), logics for MAS (formal models and rapid prototyping), applications, learning in MAS (reinforcement learning, auctions, opponent modelling), artificial life, genetic algorithms and robotics, ant algorithms, emotion and motivation. </p>
